More Praise from Educators

Your book has been a lifesaver in preparing my Regular English 3 students for the PSAT/SAT. For one, the analyzed critical reading passages have enabled me to quickly zero in on supporting evidence. In addition, the explanations for the correct/incorrect answer choices are easily understood and are perfect examples for pointing out the various strategies necessary to score well on the test. Other books I have used have confusing layouts and seem to be written without the appropriate audience in mind – your book, however, is clearly focused on the student.

Thank you!

Boost Your Score offers practical test-taking tips students can apply across the board in their academics. I appreciate the manner in which the book is divided to help students quickly find skills and tips. The immediate application of skills is a huge benefit. With the implementation of the new PSAT/SAT, I feel this book offers the help necessary to successfully navigate the tests.

The math portion of the Boost Your Score is first of all very informational. It helps you as an instructor know and understand all the new changes with the PSAT/SAT-everything from how it is scored, math concepts covered, and helpful tips for taking the test. The most helpful part of the book is all the practice problems given - grouped by "chapters" and then methodically broken down by each type of concept the students need to know. The practice problems allow students to work on and master the different types of problems they will see on the PSAT/SAT. The book was a huge help and a great tool to get students prepared for the test.

The writing skills exercises in Boost Your Score are exactly what students need to get ready for the new writing and language test. The reading passages are a great way to introduce students to the "new" style questions.
